Achievements you are proud of.

Post by Mr.Davis on Wed 3 Sep 2008 - 21:12

Well, achievements are a big part (wow this layout sucks =/) of 360 gaming, therefore for all those who take them with a bigger pinch of salt than others, which are the ones you are proud of. (They don't have to be hard, you just have to be proud)

Game : Virtua Tennis
Name: Unlock Duke
Unlock King
Reason : These two are not easy, the Duke and the King are two of the hardest bosses I have faced out of many 360 games, a true challenge.

Game : Perfect Dark Zero
Name : Complete Co-Op Perfect Agent
Reason: This game is hardcore, simple as.

Game : COD4
Name : Mile High Club
Reason : 1 minute of pure hell, everything must be memorised 100% for success.

Game : Halo3
Name : Overkill
Reason : Not hard but this took me a while, it was also the last achievement on the damn game. I was extremely satisfied.

Game : Soul Calibur 4
Name : Engraved Into History
Reason : Made me realise how much I actually loved this game

Game : Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Name : Elite
Reason : I don't play online in games much, so this was a real accomplishment for me.

CoD4 MHC I was proud of, but not so much as NFitWR.

I haven't really come across any major difficult achievements... but I am proud that I've never bought a game just because it has easy achievements.

Game : Guitar Hero 3
Name : The Inhuman Achievement
Reason: Simple as, took aaaaages.

Game : Gears Of War
Name : It's A Massacre
Reason: My rep must have dropped by about 30% in the process of getting this.

And hopefully soon

Game : Guitar Hero 3
Name : Guitar Hero
Reason: Because I bloody deserve it.

It's all about Mile High Club for me. Took me a good 4 hours. I was so happy when I did it.

I was also rather proud of my 25 master romancer awards on Viva Pinata. I thought it was time consuming.

Pfft, I can't think of many at the moment. I've only got about 800GS, and I'm more interested in completing the games rather than achievements at the moment.

I'd say killing the blind beserker thing on Gears on hardcore, but that was ridiculously easy.

Oh, I know! It was completing disc 1 on Lost Odyssey, because it's a tough, old school RPG that many attempt but give up on after a few hours.

Simple as really:

Guitar Hero III - "Guitar Hero - 75G" Five Star all of Expert (Main Career, does not include bonus songs)

http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa6/Exodist/P1010202.jpg

Although that picture doesn't show it, that was the last song I got 5* on, and it's the hardest main career song to 5* on Expert by a mile.

Guitar Hero III - "Living Legends - 75G" Five Star all of Expert Co Op Career (again, main career only)

http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa6/Exodist/P1010246.jpg

It takes mad skillz to get this, considering both people need to essentially 5* their chart to 5* the song altogether.

Game : GRAW 2
Name : Ultimate Defender, Win a 60 minute Co-op Defend match on any map
Reason: Hardest achievement I've gotten.

Took ages to get, Me and Buzz managed to get it whilst Johnny did all the work and we looked at the moss on the rocks....

Probably, but then again, not all of us here treat the game like their first impregnated girlfriend.

Whatever the hell that's like.

Ultimate Defender on GRAW 2. 1 hour of killing and defending. HARD.

PD0 on Perfect Agent for obvious reasons.

treasure Trove on Lost Odyssey. Everyone who's played this game knows that getting EVERY treasure out in the field is time cunsuming and pretty hard.

And soon to be Gears of War's 'Seriously...'. In my opinion, this is like, the 3rd or 4th hardest on the 360, if not just because it's glitched. I'm over 15,000 kills and no achievement. Definately by best achievement when/if I get it.

Me and my 3 mates found and accessed all the terminals on Halo 3 whilst drunk without a guide.
That was quite an achievement.

Can't say I've any that I'm proud of.. I'm not really too bothered about them..

However.. I did actually intentionally try to get the Halo 3 achievement where you stick 5 guys in one Ranked game.. I was pretty happy when I got that, especially when I ended up winning the game. Very Happy

It's a viral achievement. If you beat someone that has the achievement, you get it too. Actually, I got the achievement when I lost Battle mode to someone.

Crush his happiness like a paper cup why don't you. Wink

There are some pretty hard ones on Too Human, like 10G for doing each of the levels without dying. The first was pretty easy but after that it's almost impossible to do a level without something killing you. There are these huge annoying spiders which keep knocking you over while these missile launcher things stand at a distance and fire about eight rockets per enemy at you. If they all manage to hit you, you're dead...

It's just not worth it. ;_;

Game: Bioshock
Achievement: Brass Balls - Complete the game without using the vita chambers. [100G]
Reason: Having to constantly save/load the game was painful at times, Especially when Rosie wouldn't die and my previous save was just before getting blasted. I completed the game and it didn't pop up, turn's out I had to download the DLC first. Loaded save before final boss and beat "him" again. - Very rewarding when I finally got it.

Game: Shadowrun
Achievement: Godlike - Kill ALL enemies without taking damage. [25G] Note: Enemies cannot be wounded by your team-mates.
Reason: Impossible achievement from normal play. I had to teamkill all six of my team before SMG'ing the enemies ... This achievement took me ages, and lowered my Rep significantly. xD

Game: Halo
Achievement: Overkill - 4 consecutive kills [5G]
Reason: Oddball match were everyone ran towards the skull. I respawned and nabbed the rockets. Killed two with one, another with the other and beat down the 4th. Video's still on my fileshare. =P
Not that hard in theory, but I'm glad I got it.

Game: R6V2
Achievement: Elite - achieve the rank of elite. [50G]
Reason: I. Beat. Fifa. ;D

To be honest I'm not sure. Maybe beating a EA mod in a race in Need for speed pro street since that isn't a viral achievement.
