The Halo 3 Topic

Post by Toxicity on Wed 3 Sep 2008 - 22:16

This is the game that i'm usually on while nerding out on my 360.

Everyone here must have it?

Discuss your favourite map, your online rank, post your service record from Bungie.net and whether you are Spartan or Elite.. ;]

Yeah it's my online game of choice as well.

Can't wait to get to play Assembly. The skybox on that map is insane, it's a freakin scarab production plant:

I loved it... until I played CoD4, then I just couldn't get used to it again.

So I sold it, and don't really regret it apart from when you guys play it, which isn't really all that often.

Played it lots from launch until Christmas, stopped playing it for months and now I'm back to playing it again. Mostly the campaign for achievements but I'm gonna start playing online again and possibly download the map pack.

I've been playing it ever since last christmas and it is miiint!

Gets pretty boring sometimes, so i go crash some castle, then come back for more grenade then 1 BR shot to the head action.

I like it. It's my current XBL game of choice. Mainly cause a lot of crazy stuff can happen.

I do love Duelesta with 10 people.

I used to be good at Halo, but CoD4 ruined me. D=

Halo is still an awesome game. And IMO has an awesome story.

The story's good but i thought the campaign was pretty standard. I mean the last boss fight was against Guilty Sparks.. It was actually, pretty awful.

I didn't really care for the story, and I thought the single player was weak.
I only play it for the online now.

The story told in the cutscenes in Halo 3 was pretty average and really didn't resonate well with me. The stuff you read in the Terminals is fan-freaking-tastic, some of the best writing in games and some really great science fiction.

Get bent.

Probably my favourite 360 game, for how long I don't know as Gears 2 is on the horizon.

True, it could have been better, but I'm a Halo fag, played all the games and have the books. :3

Halo's awesome, I've only just finished the single player achievements and have 4 online ones to do before 1K ;D ...I thought the story was great and so were the missions (for the most part) - Meta-Games are really fun too with a bunch of mates.
The terminals very much reminded me of Metroid Prime which was great, I love all the scans and info hidden inside the prime series, and the terminals were a great way of telling another side to the story. =]
Forge, theatre, linking with Bungi.net - so many features packed into the Halo 3 which make it one of the best games on the 360.

It's awesome... Playing Braaaaains on Haunted Manor with a bunch of strangers, telling them all to "put a BANGING donk on it"...

Doesn't get ANY better.

I've played it, it was alright, nothing special. Not worth the 9.5's ect that it got.

Still, by far my favourite 360 game. Must better than Call of Duty 4 online I would say.
