Does anyone know the price that Guitar hero WW will be with a drum set?

I'm not sure, I've only seen it listed on play.com with all the instruments.

But I'd imagine you'd be paying about £40 for the game, and at least £60 or £70 for the drums, but I might be way off there.

For that price, you might as well get the full edition on play for £150, with all the instruments plus an extra guitar... Unless you already have RB's instruments, in which case you probably don't want even more plastic peripherals in your house Laughing

I'm just going to get the drum set and the game. Already have a guitar and don't want a mic.

You don't have the Rock Band drums, do you? If so, they work, the game automatically detects the drum set you're using and apparently makes up for it. Looks like it's the GHIV and RB2 solus for me.

That makes no sense. Why not just get the Rockband instruments?

I'll say now that the rock band 2 drumkit is better than the GH:WT drumkit. The GHWT drumkit is basically a "lol ours has cymbals so its realistic" but yeah, 3 pads aint practical and the charts are hardly looking amazing. Ill be getting GH:WT with guitar and Rock Band 2 solus (might get drums later). But I know for a fact, that the rock band drum charts are better, the way neversoft overcharted in GH3 isnt acceptable on drums, and I know harmonix will chart the instruments correctly which is what matters first and foremost. If you want difficult songs, then they are down to the artists to make them difficult.

In answer to your question, theres no option to buy instruments seperatly yet, just the whole deal (Game, Guitar, Mic and Drums). If you preorder on Play you also get another guitar aswell.
Meh, I'm just gonna wait for RB2 drums and shred guitar on Guitar Hero: World Tour ¬_¬

I prefer my Guitar to be over-charted so it's fun (since for the most part I can manage it), but not the Drums. Im not very good at them, beat hard on RB but I'm stuck on Dont Fear the Reaper and Foreplay/Long Time on Expert. The drums are charted perfectly on Rock Band, although I haven't really seen many charts on GHIV. Im getting GHIV, so I think the drums will be just a little extra thing. Im just buying the solus for both games, my Xplorer is fine, and the Rock Band drums are fine, well, apart from my red pad that rarely responds. I need to remember to take those in...

I'm just pleased that both parties have agreed that it would cost too much for the average Joe to buy all the different prephirials(sp), and that they're ajusting the game if you have the others' instruments.

Staff discount means that if the full instrument set is £180, I get it for £125.

Apparently, the price for the FULL Guitar Hero World Tour set (ie, Guitar+Drums+Mic+Game) costs £150, so there you go.

When you add on the extra £70 for when your drumkit breaks it's £220 :p
