Announced at PAX were the brand new achievements for Halo 3. Well, not announced. More like leaked.

Anyway, good news is they can all be gotten in social slayer and thus, easily whored. I'm looking at you Fifa.

Assembly Skull: 25 GS
Citadel Skull: 25 GS
Tank Dropper: 25 GS;
Zombie Repeller: 25 GS; Image looks like the Zombie Killing spree skull, with 2 stars behind it.
Delicious Brains: 25 GS; Picture same as ZR, except with infection spree skull.
Save this Film: 25 GS; Picture is Perfection medal.
Have Fun Respawning: 25 GS; Picture is Extermination medal
Killtacular: 25 GS; Picture is Killtacular medal
Aww, too bad: 25 GS; Picture is Killjoy medal
...Get the Horns: 25 GS; Picture is Bulltrue medal
Post mortem: 25 GS; Picture is Kill from the grave medal

Road Rage: 25 GS; Pic is Warthog splattering someone with 5 stars behind it
Flag dropped: 25 GS; Pic is two 'Killed Flag Carrier' medals, one partially covering the other
Defend this: 50 GS; On a Legendary Map, got a flag melee kill during a ranked or social match. Flag Kill medal
Came...From...Behind: On a Legendary map, got 3 assassinations on a ranked or social map. 50 GS; Assassination medal along with 3 ninja stars
Alas, Poor Yorek: 25 GS; Picture is Oddball kill medal along with 3 stars above it
Double Double: On a Legendary Map, get two double kills during a ranked or social match. 25 GS; Two double kill medals, one partially covering the other
Vidmaster Challenge: 7 on 7: 0GS; Entered into a ranked or social playlist with 7 EXP on the 7th of the month.
Vidmaster Challenge: Annual. After 9/25/08: 0GS; Completed Halo on 4-player Legendary LIVE Co-op with Iron, and everyone in Ghosts. Pic is the the skull with a hammer on the forehead in front is a green marathon symbol with 4 white stars on it
Vidmaster Challenge: Lightswitch: 0 GS; Picture is a Lieutenant symbol in front of a green marathon symbol.
Vidmaster Challenge: Brainpan: 25 GS; Picture is 6 skulls stacked into a triangle in front of green marathon symbol.

Meh, don't play Halo 3 much anymore. Interesting anyway. Anyone know if they will be free and just added on, or if you will have to buy DLC to get them? xD

Nice. Hopefully they wont be too difficult to get, id like some more armour now. But depends when it's released really, cause tbh, come November 7 I wont be playing halo for a while.

It's basically spread out across all three map packs: 250 for Heroic, 250 for Legendary and 250 for Mythic. The next auto-update's out on the 16th (which is seriously going to shake up matchmaking, meaning I'll finally able to get rid of my triple bitch bars once and for all!), so I'm guessing these will be out then... or a week or so later when Halo 3 turns a year old.

Also, <3 Marathon references. The Bungie fanatic within me is most pleased - as is my penis. =)

I havent really been bothered with the Halo achievements so far, i've been playing gears mostly. So these will just be another thing for me to catch up on.

Why will you lose your triple bitch bars?

Basically, they're changing matchmaking so that ranking up is based on just how much exp you have in each playlist, and not making is based on having set amount of exp and a certain skill level. So, for example, in Team Slayer I could be a General if I play it constantly, but only a Recruit if I never touched Lone Wolves. Obviously, on my service record it will still show my overall best rank, so unless I seriously rank up, I'll remain a Staff Captain - which is something I'm not prepared to let happen which this update goes live. D:

I've actually been playing Halo 3 a fair bit recently, I assume the Legendary Map Pack will become free when the new one comes out (or whatever this Mythic thing is). I'm too cheap to buy new maps.

After not playing Halo 3 for months I started playing it again about a week ago and have since gotten another 400GS, mostly from skulls and the campaign. Trying to get as near to 1000 as possible so I'm happy that I'll have more to to afterwards. Smile

I still have like 275 G to get on the original Halo 3 achievements :G. Tbf, i've had the 360 like 5 days, so i'll hopefully unlock the rest with a few game whoring sessions <3

This will give me a reason to come back to it =D

DLC Gamerscore is limited to 250GS across ALL DLC for retail releases. No game is allowed 1750GS total, its against the rules Microsoft have implemeneted.

In the first rule, it says it MUST have 1000 GS. The second rule doesn't say it MUST, so there is a chance that they could allow more than 250GS.

Of course it doesn't say it must, otherwise you'd be saying that all 360 games must have DLC.

No game is allowed more than 1250GS. The rules that have applied to every other 360 release since the ruling was brought in don't change for one game, even if it is Halo 3.

And its not 250GS per DLC either, I don't know where you got that interpretation from.

An example is the XBLA game Band of Bugs. It had 3 DLC extra campaigns, with 20 extra GS in one, and 15 extra GS in the other two, making a total of the 50 extra GS allowed for XBLA DLC.
