It's good that they're making avatars very in-dept. There's loads of differnet option which is good to see:

I'm really hyped for this actually, the current dashboard, although practical is a bit ugly so I'm looking forward to a redesign, and of course, the many new features it will bring.

I'd rather keep the Dash we have now...
I don't like the look of this and stealing of the Miis. >C

Mario Kart, Wii Sports 1, Wii Sports 2 and Wii Play iirc. Brawl doesn't count.

The age old "If it aint broke, don't fix it" comes to mind here. I love the old dashboard, and still iffy of the new one. The rest of the update sounds good though (minus the miis).

It looks better than the current dashboard. I hate the current one. When is the update due? I'll get an Xbox soon, so I'll wait till this comes out.

Dude... what?
I'll excuse you since you don't actually have an xbox, but whats wrong with the current dashboard? Simple, stylish and everything you need no more than a few clicks away.
And the update is expected in November.

I jsut didn't like it, It felt clunky. I much prefer the XMB. But the dashboard is still better than the Wii channels.

Fair dos. I spose it just grows on you after a while, after a year I've grown to love the fact I can check who is online, send messages, invite people to games and manage my profile mid game through the simple press of the guide button. xD

Can't wait for this update as I too dislike the current dashboard. It's not user-friendly enough for my liking and even though I've had my 360 for nearly 2 years I still forget how to carry out some functions on the dashboard.

Re: The New Xbox Experience
The XMB is the PS3/PSP interface is it not?
I hated it, found it took AGES to scroll through and find things and wasn't very well thought out. I just hated using it.
The dashboard isn't great, but for the moment it does the job I guess, it's simple enough.
