Re: Formula One - Who do you support?
Is there really going to be anyone in this thread who dosnt want Hamilton to win, except if we've got some super Scottish nationalists who are just idiots but that seems to not be here.
I used to watched F1 more than i do now, dont know why, its actually quite a good sport. Though obviously the best part is over quickly.

I don't love it, but I watch it when it is on. Lewis Hamelton started off at the local Go Kart track, Buckmore Park, so he has a big following in my area. I'm rooting for him tomorrow.

oh noes
It's nice for an English team to actually do well in something! I don't just support Lewis though, there's a few other drivers I think are excellent and would be just as happy if they won.

This.
Lewis seems like a pretty nice, down to earth guy too which is always good! Some drivers are just grumpy knobheads *cough*Raikkonen*cough* He's not that bad but I don't think I've ever seen him smile!
Re: Formula One - Who do you support?
Hamelton won =D Shame about Raikkonen crashing as he was in the lead for most of the race.

I heard that GP was epic.
Shame about Bourdais, he was in line for a podium but the two cars that changed to wet tyres (Alonso and Heidfeld I think) over took him.

Re: Formula One - Who do you support?
Hamelton has been demoted to 3rd, after he went off the track to overtake Raikkonen. That sucks >.<

To be honest I don't see how they can justify that. He didn't overtake him at all. When they went into that corner Lewis was in front, Kimi drove him off the road, Lewis hung back to let Kimi past, Kimi was first over the line and then Lewis overtook him. Twats.

is that... really that bad?
My lack of F1 knowledge may suck.. but surely theres not that much of a difference between the first 3 cars when they all clump together at the first stretch and corners anyway

Lewis was well ahead of everyone else. It's more of a points problem though. I think Lewis was 8 points ahead of Massa in the championship but because they demoted he's now only 2 points ahead. He shouldn't have been demoted though, he did what he was meant to have done. Unless I see some evidence contradicting that, I think it's bang out of order.

Hamilton used to live 2 minutes away from me, and was always known as the local speed nut.. His family still live there though, but he's moved abroad *cough* tax dodge *cough*

Re: Formula One - Who do you support?
I don't mind watching 20 or so laps, but the whole race is boring unless something exciting happens. e.g. The silver fuel pipe isn't taken off in time and one of the engineer guys gets RAGED by it.

Re: Formula One - Who do you support?
I liked Schumacher when I was 10...
I find it a bit boring though, really. 70+ laps of the same thing over and over again? Nah.. I'll pass.
