I love Castle Crashers. For sure. But as I've played it over the days I've realised I have a preference.

That is, Ikaruga.

After only playing the full versions of Ikaruga, Braid and Castle Crashers I would have to say Braid.

It's one of the most intelligently-made games I've ever played. The platforming is so simple with the 'run 'n jump' mechanic and yet the game transforms that with the ingenious puzzles requiring the fantastic time-travel ability.

Tricky. I'm torn between Marble Blast Ultra (Monkey ball style game which was so much fun), and N+, which is quite possibly one of the greatest modern day platformers.

Braid just pips both Geometry Wars and Pac-Man: CE.

The puzzle design is pure genius, with each new world giving a new twist on a basic concept that creates a new game within ever world. The Donkey Kong and the last two pieces of World 2 are some of the finest puzzle design seen around. The art style and music, combined with the text and the ending sequence elevates the game to something very special. It's one of those games which makes you feel smart having played it, it's the Memento of video games.

At the moment I've only got 2. Castle Crashers and Fable 2 Pub games. Castle Crashers is my favourite by far, but as I said, I've only got 2.

I got Rez HD and I wasn't all that impressed. Personally, my favourite has to be Castlevania Symphony of the Night. A brilliant game, and a bargain at 800MP.
