I'd say its not as good as rock band 2's by a fair bit, and there are only a few good songs on there that aren't on rock band. Still, rooftops and sweet home alabama are still welcome.

For reference there is the rock band 2 setlist. Also bear in mind 20 free songs are being given away as DLC with rock band 2 as well.

So yeah, time for battle of the bands setlists.

I can't see any songs that really catch my eye. I like a number of the bands, like Metallica and Rise Against, but the songs aren't my favourites.

Chop Suey and Down with the Sickness look good to me!

Dont really see how the Rock band sett list is better, personally i see them as quite equal.

I wasn't ever really into music, so I have no idea about the setlist. I just get the game to play them, I don't really care about the songs. I'll decide which songs I prefer once I've played Guitar Hero IV and Rock Band 2. There are plenty of songs I like on Rock Band and Guitar Hero III, but I prefer the bonus songs on GHIII. Can't wait to get this though. No Rush though (at least Harmonix seem to like them, I believe "The Trees" is in RB2).

Oh and exodist, it is infinitely better when you are shredding your plastic guitar to songs you know, even moreso on a reeltar...

Well I've certainly gotten into music more thanks to Guitar Hero and Rock Band, Rush are probably my favourite band. Since my parents are so into rock music though, when I play a Guitar Hero game I'll recognise a few songs (ie, I've heard them before but obviously never knew what they were called or who they were by), but for the most part, I don't.
