My 360 is scrathing my discs!

alright, so most of my games have some scratches on them (all work though) and Halo 3 has th most, prolly because its in the 360 most atm. there is a thin ring scratch in the middle of almost all of my games, and some outer scratches. i take really good care of all my games, so don't worry about that. I never leave them in the xbox, but i do press the eject button while the disc is running if i want to come off, but it just goes to dash board so i don't see any harm in that.

It won't affect anything. If they still work, leave it. Obviously, if you're really concerned take it back (if you still have warranty).

Lots of my discs are scratched to shit but still work. It's mainly my 360 that's the problem with playing games.

Mate, I have a badass scratch all the way across my CoD4 disk, and it works fine.

I don't see why people think that a few scratches are a cause for concern... Most, if not, all, of my disks have a few scratches, some are scratched to shit, but they work fine.

When your disks stop working, or have problems occasionally, that's when you should worry about it.

We're not supposed to keep our discs in our Xboxs when they're off...

Yeah, sounds stupid but something about the heat inside the xbox can scratch/smudge/crack the disc. i have noticed less smudges on them :S.

I've left my copy of Halo in there while I've been on holiday, then again it's turned off at the plug so Halo shouldn't of melted into a pile of CD gloop. Hopefully.
