I'd love it too but it wont because of the BluRay Disc size (Unless they multi disc it.) If they cut out the hours upon hours of Feature Film Cutscenes

And im sure playstation had some form of agreement to keep it exclusive.. They cant afford to lose any more of their big exclusives.

Actually, MGS4 uses the in game engine for cutscenes, so there can't have been that much space wasted on cutscenes. :/

I believe its more like 1hr 15 minimum, i finished the game at3 45 and the cutscene didnt finish until 5 15.

Twas i epecially loved the bit when CERN created a black hole and the that was it.

I never said the cutscenes were 5 hours a peice. I said all the games have at least 5 hours of cutscenes all together. Each, easily. or more =P

i would only rent it and complete it to see wth all the hype is about

i played it at a friends house and managed to get to the same spot he was after 30 minutes - it took him 3 hours. That time difference was simply due to the stupidly long cutscenes (which i found boring anyway)

Yeah, you'd find it boring if you didn't play the last 3 (though I'm guessing you haven't) or just plainly don't understand it.
I admire it due to the fact it's the work of an auteur... it's an original vision, yet not understood by many.
