This reminds me of this motocross game I had on the 'Cube called Freekstyle. That was an awesome game, as is this.

Loved the demo. Feels like a cross between Motorstorm and Excite Truck meets SSX using a trick system reminiscent of Skate.

The graphics aren't great, yeah, the feedback in the controller feels little off as well for racing on dirt and there is little grinding, in your face racing, yeah. But the demo track was just fucking fun. It felt so good blitzing on the truck, taking a huge leap, pulling off a trick, then landing perfectly. The course is completly un-realistic and OTT, but it doesn't matter because when you leap into the air on the first big jump and see the world around you as you fall for seconds, you will say WOW.

I'm very impressed. If I can find this for 30 bucks, then i'll be sure to buy it.

Holy shit (excuse my French), I've only just done the training mission and this is fantastic.

It feels awesome, gonna do a proper race and let you know how I feel about that. First impressions are very, very good though.

Its an off road quad bike racing game, which is a lot like Excite Truck.

Actually, compared to other racing games, Motorstorm is slow I guess.

But it's still a good game, and cheap as chips now. Very Happy

+ Jump/trick/boost system was good.
+ Character design is ok, water effects and some of the scenery looks nice.
- Track design felt very bland and linear (Although unfair to judge it all on one track)
- You can use a quad bike and... Oh, another quad bike.
- Mud effects fail...

- Physics and vehicle control doesn't feel quite right.

For the record, I only found Motorstorm particularly slow when using a Big Rig, I don't mind that seeing as you can crush your way to victory. Timing your boost helps a lot to providing a fast race though. - Plus I find the PS controller better for racers, although that doesn't really matter seeing as I could get that version to avoid the issue.

Well, I guess the core of the racing isn't that slow, it's when you feel like using a bit of boost, accidentally smash into a wall and have to spend 10 seconds watching a slow motion crash of you flying through the air while everyone overtakes you. Then you have to slowly accelerate from crawling speed because you have no boost left...

It's frustrating.

- You can use a quad bike and... Oh, another quad bike. Well, in my opinion it's better. Motorstorm could be frustrating when you're on a bike and something rams you and knocks you off, and I always felt like all the buggies/quads felt very similar anyway, so need to have a selection. There are tons of customizable features though apparently.
- Mud effects fail...I thought they looked pretty good, as good as Motorstorm anyway... What was up with them? :/
- Correct me if I'm wrong here... But there's only one view? I think I read that more would be included in the full game...? Don't count me on that though
- Physics and vehicle control doesn't feel quite right. Your opinion... I thought they were fine, powersliding worked like a dream
