Dead Rising 2?

Hi all
What do you think the chances are of a sequel to the cult classic
How would they do it?
I heard rumours it would be in a las vegas casino, which would be pretty cool, i like the idea of having it in an entire town myself that would be great

Last i heard it was going to be in a theme park without Frank.

I think the first one was fun for your first playthrough, however after that it got stale and boring.

I don't wanna casino, there'd only be slot machines and blackjack dealers to throw at zombies.

Theme park wouldn't be much good because most of the stuff there would be all soft kiddy toys... unless you could like lure zombies onto a rollercoaster and set it going and follow its course in SLOW MOTION! Omg right?

I'd make the bet on a whole town being available, so that they could offer the huge variety of items again. I'd also want to be able to go onto the second or third or whatever floors of a building and chuck zombies through glass down to the streets... IN SLOW MOTION.

Only played the demo of the Dead Rising, but I definitely want to get it in the future.

A sequel would go down pretty well too...

Or... rig up an elevator so that the elevator stays at the top but the doors open at the bottom. Fill it with explosives and then cut the cable. SQUASHED ZOMBIES BELOW and BLOWN UP ZOMBIES in the lobby or something... in slow motion...

I should be writing some of this down.

I didn't think it had been announced yet. Loved the first one though, I'd probably pick the second one up at launch.

Though with Dead rising for the wii right now . Cant wait for the second.

Gah, I was hoping for proper confirmation then..oh well.

But yes a sequel has just got to happen, the ending of the first one was so, so unsatisfying!

Yes, shock horror, Capcom have decided to adapt modern game engines!

It's a shame to see Resi 5 built on the Resi 4 engine with no actual enhancements on the gameplay. I'm not saying it won't be awesome.
