I loved the campaign of this game.
Unfortunatley, multiplayer decided to get boring on me. But I'll still play if others are. Just playing on your own is pretty dull.

Re: Call of Duty 4
Traded it in about 2 months ago for the PC version. The few flaws that were in the console versions were removed and its great being able to find big games on whatever map you want. Also custom maps and mods are always welcome.
But a great game nonetheless.

You can breathe a lot more life into the online if you try some of the 'specialist' playing styles, like Assault Sniping (ok, fancy term for running around doing jump snipes and no scopes, and spin shots :G).

I really can't see myself getting bored of it...
I sometimes think I am, but then I have a couple of days off it and I'm itching to play it again, if only for the satisfaction of nailing that perfect sniper shot to the head.

Get the PC version, at least then you can choose what map you want to play.

But wouldn't everyone just pick the map they like anyway? Is it done with whatever map has the most votes?
I hate PC controls anyway.

That one's Shipment. And it's awesome too *is part of the 100+ kill club*.
Crash is equally good.

Yeah that's the one, it's not bad... but the grenades are so annoying.

Re: Call of Duty 4
Loved the beta. Thought the single player was amazing. Played the online for a fortnight then just got bored with it. Sold it a few months back.
It's an excellent game though, especially some of the stuff in the campaign. The sickening Death from Above mission, giving control back to the player after the nuke dropped and entering a deserted Pripyat were particular highlights.

Re: Call of Duty 4
I felt so awesome when I discovered that glitch on One Shot, One Kill, down the alley so no enemies could reach you.
I was certain I was the founder since I hadn't seen anyone talk about it before... and then I found a video dated like... three days after the games release showing it.
Pffft.
Oh well, for some reason my copy doesn't manage to load that level for some reason... just says the disk is unreadable...

Mmm, I was playing it earlier and after some fag sniped me from somewhere for the third time straight I just thought 'Cba with this any more' and went on something else.
It's still really fun when us lot get on it, but there's loads of great stuff coming out on 360 that I will be playing...

Re: Call of Duty 4
I'm still slowly but surely working my way through Veteran. Loving it though. Probably in the tope 5 of one of the best games i have ever played.
BTW, don't play CoD4 and go back to CoD2... It's like going back to the 90's now. No sprint, every level requires you to move forwards before your troops do, blocky graphics, but still.... Fucking amazing. I find Regular bloody hard on CoD2... To bad all the acheivements require you completing the game on Veteran... I'll give it a go later.
